From the beginning of our activity at 2010, our Portsaid neonatology society vision was to deal with neonatal care in Egypt, not just as a Neonatal intensive care units’ job, but as a global community concern. So, we target all health care providers who deal with neonates in the community in addition to addressing the public to spread the right knowledge about proper neonatal care. From this perspective we consider that neonatal care is a field of utmost importance for the community and future of the country and sustainable development. Sensibly this must include problems that threaten the future generations including neonatal mortality, morbidity, decline of breast feeding, high cesarean section rates and disability. Our society had 8 neonatology conferences, 4 NICU nursing conferences, 24 workshops, 14 scientific days, plus sharing other societies & institutes activities & social activities.
