Educate. Empower. Connect.

PreemieWorld was created to help bridge the gap between parent and professional in the NICU, at home and beyond.  With books, videos, and other products and tools, the hope is to make everyone’s life just a little bit easier as the “new normal” is created in the life of the preemie and his/her family.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Our Readers

PreemieWorld strives to serve two main audiences: parents of preemies, and the doctors, nurses, therapists, and other individuals who help treat preemies in the NICU and beyond.

Parents of premature infants are often caught unprepared by early birth, and can quickly become overwhelmed by their new child’s needs and the unfamiliar world of the NICU.

These moms and dads are thrust into a high-stress, high-stakes situation where they are expected to make decisions for their child based on medical information they have no prior exposure to. We understand the singular and often difficult position parents of premature children find themselves in after experiencing early birth. We also recognize the preemies themselves as the warriors they are from birth to adulthood. It takes a strong spirit to live against the odds. We are proud to celebrate preemies of all ages, all abilities, all walks of life.

Neonatal professionals don’t always have enough time to seek out resources to learn how to relay sensitive subjects to parents. We provide that coaching to the dedicated men and women of the NICU. We also strive to celebrate those who give so much of their time to fight the effects of premature birth.

Our newsletters, free content, and support forums were created to assist and encourage preemie families and their NICU teams to work more closely together.
