What is PreemieWorld?

PreemieWorld LLC is a support group and educational forum founded by Deb Discenza, accomplished writer, speaker, and mother to her own preemie. The PreemieWorld franchise serves both NICU medical experts and preemie parents, seeking to build a bridge between the parenting and professional worlds that surround premature infants. PreemieWorld influences a large platform of active preemie parents, doctors, specialists, and nurses through its highly regarded monthly newsletters, DVDs and books, and social media groups. Who is our audience?

Our audience is comprised of parents who currently have a child in the NICU or are dealing with a preemie in recovery, and the doctors, nurses, and specialists who care for these patients.

Preemie parents are often caught unprepared by the early birth of their child, and need to purchase products quickly. Additionally, many families have niche needs that extend into the early school years.

Our preemie professional readers depend on PreemieWorld to help them connect with and advise the families they help treat. To date, there are no other free publications that directly serve all professionals that work with premature infants.
