A Special Note About Gwen

I have gotten a lot of letters regarding how things are with Gwen and myself. I felt that it was important to address this with our “little man” fans.

Gwen and I get along famously now. All the these years later Gwen is very involved in Nicholas’s life and the four of us remain our core family — it just looks a lot different than most on the outside.

I am so proud that Gwen and I have come to a place where all we care about it what is best for our children — both children and she’s allowed herself to have a new kind of relationship with Nicholas that is very sweet and touching to see.

  1. Nicole,
I recently graduated from nursing school and went from the frying pan into the fire with my first nursing job being in a NICU. After a particularly challenging weekend at work, I found myself wondering what in the world I was doing choosing such a difficult and draining field. I thought that maybe if I stepped out of my world and got a different perspective that I would be able to readjust my attitude. I stumbled across your documentary. And it changed my whole world. Thank you.

  2. dearest Nicole –
I am just now reading some of what I have missed the last 5 years. Life certainly can take a turn in the most unexpected of ways. This post made my heart sing. I don’t know what transpires after… being right here in this moment, I am thrilled for you and your amazing family. You have found your new normal. And that works for you. I look forward to Nesting Doll and all of your Magnificence.
In case you need a memory jog… we met at the Sedona Film Festival back when Little Man was making the rounds. You were tremendously gracious then and after. I went on with my wife to create a few films – one of them a feature doc on verbal & cyber-bullying, “Bullied to Silence.”
We’ve had some challenges along the way with my health and that’s behind us thankfully.
Anyway… just wanted to pop in and say hi. And let you know that your post touched me.
    With gratitude,
    Tami Pivnick

  3. Nicole I feel the same way. I was born. 3 mos early. I don’t have any obvious problems because of that that I know of. I spent a lot of time in the icu and mom bought doll Clothes from doll makers so I had clothe. She had to tie things on with ribbons. This was in 1948. I used to always tease mom about how small I was and other related things. Sorry, back on track. I want to knowing I can buy a poster of the painting , the cryssilas. I would like to buy one. Also have you got sound tracks for sale of your movies? If it please think about it. They would sell like crazy! Sorry to be chatty. Thank you go tryout great movies.
