SUPPORT PREEMIES: Katelyn Hall Foundation Golf Event!

The Katelyn Hall Foundation is putting on its 6th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Georgetown University Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit / Pediatrics and the March of Dimes. The GUH NICU proceeds will fund the advancement of family centered care and renovation of the NICU Family Support Center. The GUH Pediatric proceeds will fund family meal nights, a snack cart, and therapeutic humor provided by clowns to ease the lives of parents and children in the Pediatric Unit. The MOD proceeds will fund their mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Our daughter, Katelyn, was born at 25 weeks gestation weighing only 15.5 oz and given a 5% chance to live. She spent 159 days in the NICU at GUH and thanks to the heroic efforts of the doctors and nurses as well as research funded by MOD that was used in the NICU she is doing very well today at age 7. These are two very important causes and we want to insure that they are able to continue saving babies like Katelyn. Please visit www.khallfoundation.com/golftournament for more information.
