Clear View Retreat reaches out to grieving families by offering a FREE retreat that focuses on God’s healing through such a monumental loss. Grief mentors will be available, and the whole family, individually and collectively, will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities that assist in the expression of the loss and pain as well as the hope that can spring from such a time.
CVR founders, the Nestle family, lost their infant son in 2011. Here is a NewsChannel5 story about their Journey with Jedidiah. They understand your grief, and when CVR was approached by a friend of the Nestles who suggested that we add in retreats for grieving families, we knew that God had ordained such a part of CVR’s mission. The Nestles have a personal website that chronicles their journey of grief and healing. (Please know that although the Nestles are an integral part of CVR, their website is not affiliated with us.)

Intentional intimacy — living life with passion
We are called by God…
…to demonstrate the love and hope of Christ through “one another” living
…to minister to others who are hurting and struggling to understand what God meant when He spoke of “living life abundantly”
…to encourage believers to trust God with their relationships and interactions
